Race Official Development in Atlantic Canada ~ 2008

 

The Canadian Yachting Association - with Prince Edward Island Sailing Association (PEISA) - is pleased to invite individuals from PEI’s neighbouring provinces to attend a CYA Level 1 & 2 Race Officials Seminar, taking place at the Summerside Yacht Club in Summerside, PEI, March 29th and 30th, 2008. This seminar will include an emphasis on mark setting techniques and the position of Mark Set on a Race Management Team.

 

With the Sailing event for the 2009 Canada Summer Games taking place in Summerside, PEI, the CYA maintains an objective to align development opportunities to the Host (PEI) and nearby regional (Atlantic) Societies. Some Provinces have aligned CYA Race Management Seminars of their own, while others might just be looking for just such a development opportunity for one or more of their sailing volunteers.
